Thirteen
Reasons Why
In this novel a boy named Clay
Jensen receives a box of audio tapes. As the story unravels we learn the tapes
are from a young girl who killed herself two weeks prior, Hannah Baker. There
are exactly seven tapes with 13 stories, for 13 people leading to her suicide. In
her tapes she holds each one of them responsible for her suicide and each tape
will each explain why. Each person must listen and pass on the tapes to the next
person on the list. If someone fails to pass on these tapes, an extra set of
tapes will be posted publicly along with a map for all her listeners to follow
along as they listen.
